The products PONSO

The PONSO fruit is produced in one of the best regions of Italy. The soil conformation, the altitude, the exposure to the sun, the temperature difference between night and day, permit an exceptional richness of flavours, aromas and colours. In order to improve the already high quality of our production, we have adopted the series of measures aiming at exalting the taste and biological consistency of our products.

In relation to growing standards, the PONSO fruit is picked later, when it reaches a major level of ripening; thus its sugar contents is higher and the same is for its taste and the other organoleptic qualities.

The products

PEACH

The most appreciated quality of our peaches is the taste. Our company's production exalts this characteristic, since we grown them on the ideal alluvial soil, close at hand to the Prealpine strip. The lands extend up to the southwest plateaus of Piedmont. The two variants of PONSO peaches (with yellow and white pulp) are present on the market from the beginning of July throughout September.

NECTARINE

In the last years nectarine had an increasing success among the consumers, both for its inviting appearance and for its outstanding taste. Its colour, which is usually rather deep in all nectarines, here becomes particularly lively, thanks to the geographical position of our company. The picking season starts from the end of July until mid of September.

During the whole period we are able to offer the consumer a wide range of always-fresh products, the organoleptic qualities of which are at their best (both the ones with white and yellow pulp).

APPLE

The area where PONSO apples are grown is a Piedmontese landscape, essential to obtain the best quality results regarding taste, aroma and colour. Rich with minerals, vegetal fibres and vitamins (and consequently highly nutritious), with a low level of calories and therefore dietetic, easy to digest and assimilate, capable to regulate the intestinal bacterial flora, the apple is one of most complete and healthy food. The type produced and sold by the company PONSO from August to November is GALA. It's a niche production with superb organoleptic qualities.

KIWI

The kiwi is very rich with vitamin C (richer than strawberries or citrus fruit). This vitamin is an important bio-regulator of the basic functions of our body, a barrier against the infectious and viral illnesses. Thanks to its high energetic value and excellent contents of fibres and sugar, this fruit is a healthy hunger-killer, a valid energetic integrator and an excellent intestinal regulator. The PONSO kiwi is produced with total absence of anti-parasites treatment. It can be found on the market from October till April.
